how do i view the history to check for indecent sites
i think somebody using our computer visited indecent web sites. how do i check for the history if it has been deleted.

History > Show All History or { Ctrl + Shft + H } for the Library window
or you can view History in the Sidebar with { Ctrl + H }
If the history has been deleted then you can check the cache on the about:cache page in case the cache wasn't deleted.
If you have a firewall or router that keeps a log then you can check out that as well.
Otherwise you are out of luck.
