Firefox crashes when loading, error msg is: AppName: firefox.exe AppVer: 8.0.1.4341 ModName: msvcr80.dll ModVer: 8.0.50727.6195 Offset: 00048b76

Code is 0XC000000d

I am told the errors deals with FF version 8 conflict. I updated to version 9 and uninstalled all of Version 8, doing a clean load.

I cannot access desktop Firefox at all on my computer unless I go to portable FF and use a flash drive.
All updates are current.

If I do not have a version 8 loaded, how can there be a conflict? I did a windows search and with the program Search everything. I do not find FF version 8.

Thanks

I cannot check anything using Moz FF, it crashes. I have cleared all of the program and files completely. I clean loaded, even loaded through mobile FF. I ran a thorough check of my computer after "clearing", and the version this error keeps citing was not on muy computer. When I download any version of FF, it goes through the process asa though all was succesful. When I try to access FF, this message comes up again, as though I did not download any version other thanm the one (8) the error msg keeps citing. I have been dealing with this for a month. Does Mozilla not have anyone or know someone to monitor this help format that can help?

-> Restart your System in Safe Mode

-> Uninstall currently installed Firefox versions

-> Do a MALWARE check with these Malware Scanning programs. You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. Make sure that you UPDATE each program to get the latest version of their Databases before doing a Scan. Also, Close All other Applications (softwares) before Starting to Run Scans.

-> Install latest Firefox
