How do a pure firefox search. Right now my firefox download has a number of search tools--I just want the firefox search.

I have been using Google Chrome but I want to move to Firefox because I resent their intention to invade my privacy.

I am a novice firefox user.

When I download and extract firefox the overhead tool bar is complicated with screen has searches capability for searches through AOL, Bing, Isobuster, etc. I would like to see a screen that was simply firefox search. After that I can begin customizing.

Hi,

Please see this. You can delete all the existing search engines and also add new ones via the addons site or manually. When on a search engine page, for eg. DuckDuckGo or Yacy clicking on the left-side icon of the search bar gives an additional option to Add ....
