Hello,

I have Firefox on my MAC.

Everytime I start or restart Firefox I get a popup tab searching for fls.doubleclick.net.

I have tried the following, which did not work:

(1) Reinstalled Firefox (2) Ran MacScan (3) Deleted the Browser Cache (4) Installed Intego Anti-Spam (5) Ran CCleaner.app (6) Ran CleanMyMac.app (7) Ran MacCleanse.app (8) Deleted Cookies (9) Turned on Ad-Blockers/Pop-up Blockers

So nothing worked.

How do I get rid of this annoying browser hijack from DoubleClick.net?

Thanks, Shane

Hi shanekeller,

I'd try starting Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode. If you don't have the issue while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit. You should look at the Extensions and Themes troubleshooting guide and the Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems article as well.

You could also try Creating a new profile.

You could also look at Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware.

Hopefully this helps!
