I was using Firefox 3.6 and it works fine. However, after upgrade to 13.0.1, it hangs on the very 1st start up and would not response at all. I tried to uninstall and do a clean "entire new" install but the problem is still there. Even "safe mode" hangs. Since this happens from the 1st start up, and the "mozilla welcome page" never finished loading, it would try to load this page every time Firefox starts. Not sure if loading other page may lead to the same issue. My system: Win XP Pro. SP3.

I can't...each time FF restarts, it tries to load the welcome page (restore session, or finishing its "first time run"). Acturally this happens when I upgrade it to 12.0. Now it's 13.0.1 so I decided to try once more, but the issue is still there. With 12.0, I tried to modify the FF config XML file to avoid any page "load by default", it works and FF started without error, and I can even load some other page! But, after a while, FF hung again. So it seems quite unstable loading pages, no matter if it is the welcome page or any other.
