Before the latest update of Firefix (I now have 13.0.1), YouTube & other sites played videos fine. Now, these videos only play 3-11 seconds before freezing (but the little red download bar under them still progresses like normal).

This might be caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update.

  1. Deleting and reinstalling the plugins may be a choice.
  2. Some add ons may be the casue
