I have firefox 18 , my hotmail has changed to outlook. does firefox support silverlight and skydive as per microsofts advise

I have tried downloading sliverlight but says cannot do, as hotmail; has changed to outlook and i cannot get back to hotmail , microsoft says get latest browser they quote firefox 17 I have 18,.

so does firefox support silverlight and skydive which apparently I need for outlook

If you use the link in the following article, can you download Silverlight: Use the Silverlight plugin to play audio and video.

(It does seem to run in Firefox 18.0.2 on Windows 7 (64-bit) for me.)

SkyDrive is a cloud storage service from Microsoft. It is commonly used for picture sharing by Windows Live Hotmail users. There is a Windows application to integrate SkyDrive into your system which you can download here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/sk.../download. That probably runs independently of your browsers, communicating with Microsoft directly.

Regarding viewing photo albums on Microsoft services, we had a thread a while back about compatibility issues but I can't recall seeing anything recently. If you are having problems with that, could you describe what you're seeing (or not seeing) in more detail? Please make sure you have JavaScript enabled and aren't blocking the site (e.g., with an ad blocker, script blocker, or Flash blocker).
