Videos on YouTube not displaying
For the last few days the videos on YouTube are not displaying. Everything else on the video page appears normal - video title, description, comments, etc. Flash is up to date, as are all other plugins and addons. YT works fine in IE.

Thank you!
If you use extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) like Adblock Plus or NoScript or Flash Block that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.

If you use an extension like Ghostery then check the settings for Yahoo and possibly white-list the domain.
Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Thank you both for your replies. I am sorry to be so long in getting back to you, but until today I have not been able to address this annoying problem.
It turns out that the add-on Remove It Permanently was causing the problem. Since disabling it (and no other add-ons), YouTube seems to be working normally. Let me add that the add-on does work very well for its intended purpose, but in the YouTube case it became a little overzealous. It's odd that the videos played when I was not logged in, but blocked/removed when I was.
Again, thanks for responding.
A Firefox add-on called Google Disconnect 2.4.2 prevents YouTube videos from playing everywhere except on YouTube - if you unblock Google Requests in the drop down window the videos return and work fine. This is a small "g" on the right side of the browser window.
