{Ctrl + P} initiates printing in Firefox, as it does with all programs running under the Windows OS's.

Or, you can place the Print button on the toolbar of your choice.

But that won't be of any use if a popup window has the toolbars blocked or hidden.

In case it's of interest... This extension adds Print and Print Preview to the right-click context menu so they should always be available: Print/Print Preview.

That is exactly what I am looking for. However, Internet Explorer8 is no longer available/useable! It cannot be uninstalled from the operating system being two files are missing to make the uninstall impossible.

The printers are compatible to Firefox and other pages that are not created in the MAX view, one can access the Command Bar at the upper right and corner. Using that Command bar "PRINT/PRINT PREVEW" is the only way to print!

If you want, I will look up the two missing files and see what can be done to IE8 Thanks!

BTW I printed out the 4 page trouble shooter and that those suggestions don't help/correct the problem!

Correction! The Command Bar is in the upper Left hand corner of Firefox!

Hi Scand, it's generally a bad idea to uninstall Internet Explorer. Although I think on Windows XP you can roll back to IE7, it would be better to try to get IE8 working since support probably has ended for IE7.

Regarding your menu/toolbar situation, unless you are in full screen mode (F11 switches between regular and full screen) you should be able to access the menu bar and turn toolbars on and off using this approach:

tap the Alt key > View menu > Toolbars
or right-click a blank area of the tab bar

If the toolbars are turned on but not displaying correctly, you could check the Customize mode to see whether they have been combined somehow.

tap the Alt key > View menu > Toolbars > Customize
or right-click a blank area of the tab bar > Customize

Sometimes the file that stores toolbar customizations becomes corrupted. In that case, you can rename the file and customize from scratch.

Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using

Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button

Switch back to Firefox and Exit

Pause while Firefox finishes its cleanup, then rename localstore.rdf to something like localstore.old

Restart Firefox. Hopefully now your toolbars will line up normally.
