Please always put in some text in questions, assuming people will watch your screencast isn't very considerate.
Try to Reset Firefox Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
Try to open a new window to see if the location bar works better in that new window.
If that works then you can close the not working window.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

You can check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file.
