Unable to upgrade Firefox
1.Have repeatedly tried to upgrade manually as requested. The manual run does not come up. What does this mean?
2. I am not able to play any games on Mozilla/Facebook, or otherwise. Help.

to slove your first problem reinstall firefox completely. Go to settings > programms > choose Firefox and press deinstall. Download the latest version of Mozilla Firefox (http://www.mozilla.org). Install Firefox and it should be upgraded.
To slove your second problem please clean your cookies , delete cache / history and uninstall useless add-ons. What happens when you start a game at Facebook or anyway? You already tried to play a game with IE or an other browser?
