I just installed yahoo toolbar in my new w8 laptop and can't see any way to change it. I am going to use the bookmark toolbar but I need to remove the Yahoo toolbar and can't seem to find out how. Please help, Noel

You can check in "Windows Control Panel > Programs" for recently installed programs to see if anything from Yahoo or any other suspicious software shows up.

  • Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Uninstall or change a program
  • Click the Installed column to sort by this heading

Yahoo isn't in the list of programs in the Name column. I have Windows 8 with Firefox Version 27.0.1 and the latest Yahoo tool bar installed.
