cookie mismatch error
When I try to navigate to gmail, I am redirected to this page instead: https://accounts.google.com/CookieMismatch#inbox
That happens 100% of the time.
I have deleted all cookies and all history from firefox, and have disabled hardware acceleration. If I go to about:permissions, I can verify that mail.google.com and gmail.com both have cookies enabled but that there are no cookies stored.
Neither mail.google.com nor gmail.com are on any lists that block them.
If I close Firefox and restart it, and try to go to gmail, I get the same error.
If I close Firefox then open it in Safe mode, I get the same error.

Hi Grrrrandpa, That is interesting. When I click on the url, the url for browser specific instructions takes me to instructions for Chrome.
If I may ask, did you try to log out and back in? This could reset a cookie for a new login. However all of the cookie settings in Firefox are mentioned in this Kb article: Cookies - Information that websites store on your computer and Clear cookies and site data in Firefox
Also try looking for cookies from https://accounts.google.com/
This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.
- check the permissions on the about:permissions page and in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
If clearing cookies didn't help then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies got corrupted.
- Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookies files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

Do you also get this error in a Private Browsing mode window?
