Groups in my address book no longer are accepted. I get an error box, " "20 Dairy Lane Owners" is not a valid e-mail address because it is not of the form user@host. You must correct it before sending the e-mail"

However, the address book format does not put an e-mail address in the heading area of the format.

There is a bug in Thunderbird 31.1 which stops mailing lists with a space in their name working. The short term workaround is edit the properties of the mailing list and remove the space, perhaps replacing the space with an underscore to maintain readability is a good idea. But removing the space in the name works around the bug.
