I need to retrieve my trash "Do You want to empty"
After reading email and I go to empty trash, there is a tab that comes to say "are you sure that you want to empty trash" I am not sure what happened when I closed Thunderbird but now when I empty trash that tab does not come up any more. How to get it back as sometimes I empty my trash in error. Thanks

Tools > Options > Advanced> General tab or menu icon > Options > Options > Advanced> General tab
- click on 'Config editor' button
it will tell you to be careful :)
- in top search type: trash
- look for this line: mailnews.emptyTrash.dontAskAgain; true
- Double click to toggle 'true' to 'false' or right click on line and select 'Toggle'
- Close config editor - top right X
- click on OK to save changes in Options.
