All your SMTP settings look backwards. Port 25 is usually plain and port 465 is usually STARTTLS or SSL/TLS. Maybe your provider is different but since you cannot send I doubt it.
Tried both ways Another pensacourt.com account on another PC works fine. Duplicating the settings on that PC does not help the problem. Had a sudden crash earlier this PM with PC precipitously shutting down . It looks like a bunch of messages in Sent folder are gone. A crashreporter file to Mozilla found in T-Bird program folder. I'm contemplating reinstalling. Got Mozbackup for file protection. Thanks Xneph
iT IS WORKING W PORT 465 SSL/TSL nORMAL pASSWORD......even though port 25 / 110 for send receive with no security has worked for 15 + years. Can't explain. Thanks for your assist!
