New folder window opens, but can't save after entering data - buttons don't function.

Instead of just adding a new folder, named "new folder", now a "whiz-bang" window (form) opens. Repeated attempts at using this window to add a new folder have failed. This window appears to have two buttons in the lower right area of the form. These buttons, in my case, are short in height and have no labels. They are non-functional and the only way out of the window is to X out which cancels the add folder process....


The buttons on the "Add Troubleshooter" window are also non-functional...

Are you using Firefox Sync?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Thx for the quick reply. I deleted firefox - downloaded a fresh copy and reinstalled. Now all is once again well.
