Essentially the same problem as https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/982704.

Links in a PDF file viewed with the internal viewer in Firefox 38 (specifically 38.0.5) on Win 7 (64bit) do not open and are seemingly unresponsive. The PDF was created from the File+SaveAs PDF option in Microsoft Powerpoint 2010. The links are relative (e.g., test.mov, ../newdir/test.html as opposed to absolute like http://test.com/test.mov). Hovering the pointer over any of the links shows "resource://pdf.js/web/". Clicking a link results in no response.

On Internet Explorer (IE) 11, hovering the pointer over any of the links shows the expected (relative) URL. Clicking a link results in the expected URL opening.

Question 982704 noted in January of 2014, "It is already fixed in a future version of the built-in PDF Viewer...when Firefox 28 gets released in March..." Is it broken again, or is there an option which needs to be set either in Firefox or in the creating of the PDF in Powerpoint?

Try to download the most recent version from here:

I can also suggest to try to change the default pdf view in Firefox's Applications menu.* Applications panel - Set how Firefox handles different types of files

Since there is more information about faqs also check out here:

If it is reproducible and you have an example, please do open an up an issue with pdf.js github pages.

Check the PDF file itself. If the link is not marked as a link, then it will display as plain text.
