Hi recently I've seen my Java plugin was vulnerable and outdated so I unistalled the old completely and downloaded the latest Java 8u45. Now, after installation, I can't see any mention to the new Java plugin on the plugins screen in Firefox. In java control panel the option of "enable Java content on my browser" was already checked, but still Java not enabled on my browser no matter what. I even tried to install the SDK package or older version like Java 7u80 both gave same result.

Here's my guess: you installed the 64-bit Java, but not the 32-bit. Since Firefox is a 32-bit application, to get DLLs compatible with all your applications, you'll also need to install 32-bit Java. See:
