Minimize, maximize and close buttons do not work. Also I can not select from a drop down menu unless I scroll with a cursor and hit enter
this all started when I upgraded to 50.0.2 Also if I click on about Mozilla Firefox I can not close the window that comes up.

I can close Firefox from the task bar but not the buttons on the top right. Thunderbird is the same problem. Chrome works fine so it has to be a Mozilla problem.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

It still does not work. Immediately upon opening Firefox the problem does not exist. As soon as I open a web site the minimize, maximize and close buttons do not work. Also I still can not select a things on a pull down menu.

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
