disable keyboard shortcuts
I just made a big screwup thanks to Thunderbird.
in my browser I wanted to type CTRL-A (select all text in a text box) and then type a person's name which has two M's in it.
But it turned out Thunderbird was the active window, I ended up marking all emails in my Gmail as 'read' which marked 300ish unread emails I have in my inbox as 'read'. They aren't deleted but now they are lost in a sea of 24,000 messages. I keep unread messages as sort of a to-do list
1) is there any way to recover a list of which emails were unread? logs?
2) How do I completely disable shortcut keys? I already downloaded Keyconfig extension but it doesn't let you change the M key which is for mark read/unread

at the same time I want to disable the CTRL-Enter to send an email which is the worst possible feature, should be disable-able!
Your 1). If it just happened, you can click Ctrl-Z to undo. It's probably too late now. I know of no way to help you now.
You have already found the add-on "Keyconfig", which is the only possible solution I know of for disabling keyboard shortcuts in Thunderbird.
