Firefox 55.03 crashes non-stop and no matter what I do, I can't roll back to 54.01 because it automatically updates no matter what setting I use.
Firefox 55.03 crashes all the time. I've rolled back to Firefox 54.01 and the first time I load it, it works beautifully. I can run for hours without a crash. However no matter what setting I use (I've gone into Options -> Advanced -> Update and set it for update only if say to) and have even turned the update off but no matter the setting, the next time I start Firefox it updates to 55.03 and I start crashing non-stop again. HELP! If I can't figure this out, I probably going to get rid of Firefox all together and never use it again. LOVE Firefox but this latest update is a piece of garbage.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
While still in Safe Mode,
