I used to have no problem downloading you tube videos now only a few.
A couple of years ago I bought Video Downloaderhelper. I never had a problem downloading any video. Now only a very small percentage of videos will actually activate the program. When I do try to bring the downloader up when I want to save a video and it has not activated all I get is a box saying that "nothing is there".

Please consider turning on send info to Mozilla before posting a question. This helps us help you. As I have no info from your system that would help see things that cause issues. I would also see proper version of Firefox you are running. Shows as 56.0 here. I would have seen your Extensions and the version. Note from Developer: Version 6.3.3 Released October 14, 2017 772.6 KiB Works with Firefox 51.0a1 - 56.* This release is the last one of Video DownloadHelper using the legacy Add-on SDK Firefox API.
It does not add nor remove any feature from the previous 6.3.1 version, just ensures the user configuration can be re-used when WebExtensions-based Video DownloadHelper 7.0.0 will be published.
Note : Firefox 57 Quantum release date Nov 14th https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/quantum/ Note : Legacy Extensions will be disabled and or removed.
I suggest you updated your video card drivers. If you need further support with this please contact the Developer: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/
Mozilla only ok's the extensions and hosts their program. Mozilla does not offer support for Extensions but with enough info we do try to help.
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
Appreciate the help but I am not all that good with the computer. I started having the problems when Windows 10 was installed. The Video Downloadhelper was helpful before that. What i do get when I try to copy a video from you tube is the message "No media to process in the current tab" and underneath the message says "Click play on video to help detect files" This is while the video is playing on you tube. This does not happen 100% of the time but I have not been able to establish what is different. I appreciate the help and will try some of your suggestions. Mainly after the 14th. Thanks
