Hi eagle_earlene, the star should be in the address bar (not in another part of the toolbar, like Firefox 29-56). If you don't see it, you can add it using the steps in this image:

Or in words:
- Click the Page Actions menu button (•••) to open the menu
- Right-click "Bookmark This Page"
- Click "Add to Address Bar"
- Click the Page Actions menu button to close the menu

Hi,
If you can't find all of your bookmarks and bookmark folders in Firefox Quantum (version 57 or up), try this solution:
- Click on the Library icon on your Firefox toolbar.
- Click on Bookmarks, then click on Bookmarking Tools.
- Click on Add Bookmarks Menu to Toolbar.
- A Bookmarks Menu icon will be added to your toolbar.
- Click on the new Bookmarks Menu icon. You should get the same Bookmarks Menu as in earlier Firefox versions.
Let us know if this solves the problem.
- For other ways to customize Firefox, see Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.
- To learn more about Firefox bookmarks, see Bookmarks in Firefox.
You can find some items like the bookmarks star in the "Page actions" drop-down list (3-dot icon at the right end of the location/address bar). You can right-click an item in the "Page actions" drop-down list to add its button to the location/address bar for easy access.
I want the Star back that selects a URL as a Bookmark. I DON'T want to go through a two-step process of using a drop-down box. PLEASE PUT IT BACK in the menu bar! I am using FF v.60.1.2 and hate that the Bookmark This Page STAR is gone!

Thank you SO VERY MUCH! The right-click part of your instructions is what made the star come back. I am SO happy to have it back again!
Greatly appreciated!
