Folders not imported on Windows version of Thunderbird
Hi. I run Thunderbird on severalLinux installs; thought I'd try in on Windows.
The main difference:
Thunderbird/Linux creates all folders and sub-folders from my email account; all emails are correctly importaned/placed.
Thunderbird/Windows: I have no idea. There is one folder, "inbox" which, and I'm guessing here, doesn't have the emails I saved to the other folders I created.
Again - this works fine in every Linux version of Thunderbird - Mint, Fedora, Debian, etc.
Maybe you can fix this. Meanwhile I'm deleting the Windows install.

Sounds like you have installed your accounts as IMAP on Linux and POP on Windows. That would explain the lack of folders, or it may be that Thunderbird does not have a working connection to the internet. This is a very common problem under Windows where anti virus products have application firewalls, often configured to the Version X.X.X level.
