Still hoping to find an add on that would give me the option to right click on an attachment and copy the filename as text to the clipboard... It would be beyond useful to me.

A simple workaround (for received messages): right-click the attachment, Save As..., Ctrl+C to copy the file name, Cancel to close the window. For composed messages, right-click the attachment, Rename, Ctrl+C, Cancel.
