I cannot find the Firefox 52 ESR at the download site: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/
I need to downgrade after upgrading to 60 ESR so that my JAVA apps function. The above site only links to Firefox 60. Can someone provide me a link to 52 ESR? (I will never upgrade again!)

https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/52.9.0esr/mac/ and pick your locale.
No need to compile.
A note, the JavaScript in Firefox and the NPAPI Java Plugin from Oracle are two different things. Even Oracle has been in process of depreciating their ever vulnerable Java Plugin as Java 9 does not come with it.

If you absolutely need Java, then you can download the ESR version from here :
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/52.9.0esr/win32/
You do know of course, that this version will get no security updates etc., don't you ?
Too bad those apps stil use Java .....
Hi. I have a mac. I ftped the corresponding file from that site. However, I need a dmg file. Instead I unzip a folder with other folders that I suspect I need to compile.
