Hi, I have Thunderbird 60.3.1 on a Mac. I have an IMAP account with several subfolders. Some subfolders doesn't check mails automatically. I need to select the subfolder and wait if there are any new mails. The default behavior for these folders seems to stay still and not update, unless they are forced to do it. This behavior happens only for certain subfolders. I have the same account on Mail for Mac and it doesn't have the same problem.

Right click the folders and check the properties for the folder. Not all folders are polled. The spam folder for instance is deliberately not polled unless you change the properties for the folder.
