Chrome shows different favicons on the bookmark bar for Google Maps, Google Analytics, Google Express. But Firefox just shows the generic G favicon for all Google sites. I tried the Firefox favicon-customizer app but it didn't work. Is there a solution for this?

A lot of the Google websites share the same favicon, but there are some (like Google Analytics) that should be something other than the "G" icon.

This suggests to me that maybe the Firefox file that stores the favicons is damaged. To fix this, you can go to your Firefox profile folder and delete the favicons.sqlite file. When you open Firefox, all of your bookmarks will have the default globe icon, but when you load each page, Firefox will grab and store the favicon for you.

Hope this helps.
