Mozilla Firefox is kicking me out of Pandemic Indep Contactor Application because they are not using new version What can I do? Direct phone # for Moz Firefox?
It appears California's Unemployment Dept is not using the latest version of Firefox so Firefox kicks me out of application filing for Unemployment for Independent Contractors. I am not a tech person but I imagine this is happening all over California!. This is the first day Independent Contractors can file for Pandemic Benefits. Does anyone know how to directly contact Mozilla? The message I get when I'm kicked out of app is:
An error occurred during a connection to uio.edd.ca.gov. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.
I can't imagine contacting Unemployment so what do I do? I have tried this at least 10 times. Pulling my hair out!!!

Hi
I want to look into this as a priority. What is the address of the website that you are trying to use?
Hi, I can get this far then I need to create a login: https://edd.ca.gov/Benefit_Programs_Online.htm
This testing page says the site where you got the error is down: http://www.websitedown.info/uio.edd.ca.gov
Maybe they are doing some fixes, or maybe only certain ports work? By port I mean a number after a colon, such as:
Anyway, the error code PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR indicates the server or an upstream devices is sending a RST to terminate Firefox's attempt to connect.
A common reason for this is when the server does not support any of the encryption ciphers Firefox proposes for the connection. The server says g'bye!
The server or a web application firewall might also terminate the connection if the connection parameters appear to be suspicious or the IP address is on a blacklist.
Since it's difficult to test at the moment, I suggest trying in Microsoft Edge or another browser you have there on Windows 10 to see whether that works better.
