I used to always donate to the Mozilla foundation because I used firefox and thunderbird. After hearing in the news that you are banning Trump or anything to do with Trump.........I am no longer supporting you. What happened to freedom of speech? I and many of my friends who I encouraged to use your browser and email are now uninstalling firefox and thunderbird. You will no longer have my support or money. We are so disappointed in your stance on this.

Hi Roxie, From your wording, I get the impression that you think you are directly contacting developers or Mozilla employees. You are not. This is a community support forum. The people that answer questions here are users just like you, volunteering their time.

Neither Firefox, nor Thunderbird are social platforms. There's nothing Mozilla can ban them from, expect maybe from using Mozilla forums like this one. I assume that what you're hearing about is following blog post: https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2021/01/08/we-need-more-than-deplatforming/

It is about de-platforming those who incite violence and hate. If inciting violence is something you're okay with, Mozilla is not going help you.
