I cannot use firefox anymore.
I cannot use firefox anymore. The program opens but will not search. Could this be because I downloaded Windows 11? I have tried many fixes. Nothing works. Thank You

Does everything else work? What/how are you searching?
Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is/are the exact error message(s) ?
Everything else works. When I open Firefox I see the browser but it will not go to any website. There is no error message. It just does not do anything.
You can check for issues caused by a corrupted or incomplete Visual C++ installation that is missing runtime components (Redistributable Packages) required by Firefox, especially VCRUNTIME140_1.dll.
See "Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019":

- https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x86.exe
You may not need the latter (32-bit version) if you use 64-bit Firefox. You may have to reboot the computer.
I have a brand new Dell Laptop with Windows 11 Home. First thing I downloaded was Firefox and had same problem - no websites, couldn't access firefox settings.
As per another post from corel downloaded, installed and then also repaired the two linked C++ files https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x64.exe https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x86.exe
Did not work - but left these installed
SOLVED when I downloaded and installed, and the repaired both the x64 and x86 Visual Studio 2013 (VC++ 12.0) which can be found down the page a little ways link text
That was very good work. Well Done. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem as this can help others with similar problems. Go to that post and click the 'Solved' button to its right.
