Running multiple instances of Firefox on Windows
In running Firefox right now, I have a standard set of windows & tabs that I keep open all the time for various purposes, and I like to keep them setup in a specific order for quick access. Then of course, there are other windows and tabs that I open for random browsing, etc. Every so often, something will happen that will cause one of the standard tabs to get closed (a mis-click, crash, etc.), and I'll have to spend time closing and re-opening other windows to get things back into the right order.
I'd really love to have a way to move these "standard" windows to their own instance so I can better manage and access them. Is this at all possible?
I run FF on the latest mass-release builds of Windows 10.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but have you tried pinning the tabs you want to stay in order? see screenshot
Thanks, but not quite what I'm looking for. In my case, I've got one window dedicated to my home server stuff, another that's got my email and news feeds, and a third that's got active gaming stuff. Each window itself has several tabs open in it. Then there's ancillary windows for whatever other random browsing I'm doing.
It's the order of those windows in the Taskbar preview, rather then the order of tabs in a particular window that bothers me. Would be much easier to deal with if I could separate those first 3 main windows from the others so I always knew exactly which window in which order has what so I can quickly get to it.
