The bookmark star button next to the address bar is gone
Hello, I accidentally removed my "save bookmark" star (that turns blue when a page is saved) in the address bar. I know there are other ways to save a bookmark but I want it restored as it was. What should I do for that? Thank you.

There is no way to hide or remove the star in the location bar, but Firefox might not show it like when you are in a blank tab. You should see the star when you are on a page like the webpage with this question.
Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window

You can drag the Bookmarks Menu button that shows the bookmarks in a drop-down list from the Customize palette to the Navigation Toolbar. This Bookmarks Menu button has a "View bookmarks sidebar" menu item.
