What happens to the app settings and the sign ins on websites if the Beta version of Firefox for Android is installed alongside the stable release version on an Android smartphone?
Hello, I already have the stable release of Firefox for Android installed on my Samsung Galaxy A50 smartphone. What exactly will happen if Firefox Beta for Android is installed alongside the stable release of Firefox for Android? Will there be new app settings for the Beta version on the phone or are the stable release and the Beta app settings combined? I am signed into YouTube in the stable release Firefox for Android version. Once the Beta version is installed, do I have to sign out of the stable release version and sign into YouTube on the Beta version? The stable release version of Firefox for Android has unresolved issues, especially regarding YouTube, that the Beta version configurations may be able fix. Please let me know the answers to these questions and any other concerns I should know about before I install the Beta version of Firefox for Android alongside the stable release version. Thank you.

Hi
Both copies (Release and Beta) will each have their own profiles, so they will have their own bookmarks, passwords, Collections, browsing history.
Hi Paul,
Thank you so much for your reply. So does that mean that the Beta version and the stable release version of Firefox for Android will have their own separate app settings in the "Settings" section of my Android smartphone? The app settings in the "Settings" section of my smartphone is where I can, for example, set the notifications to be silent or make them sound an alert with a selected ringtone.
Yes, they will be two separate apps on your Android device.
