"Verification of this link failed due to an error" when selecting a hyperlink. I then select "Skip verification" and the link is made.
This happens on all hyperlinks. Has been happening for at least 6 months.
How can I fix or prevent this message? Thank you.

That's a strange message! When I search it, there are references to links in Microsoft Office apps like Excel:
"Verification of this link failed due to an error" - Google Search
Is that where you see the problem, or does it occur even in web pages you are already viewing in Firefox?
