How do I change incoming emails from card view to table view

If the 'quick filter' box is above message list pane, click the icon to its right. If not, then click View>layout and tick 'message list header' and then use suggestion at beginning of my reply. If menu bar is not visible, press alt key, and then the view>layout and then look for the quick filter box. Whew!
