I typed in the wrong password and (accidentally) told Firefox to save/remember it, so I went into Tools and removed the saved password; now Firefox won't save/remember my (correct) login information for that site.
I entered my username (correctly) and password (incorrectly) for gmail in Firefox and when the popup asked me if I wanted to store the information, I said yes. Unfortunately the password I entered was incorrect, so I went into Tools - Security - Saved Passwords and removed the login information.
I then went back to gmail and logged in (with my correct password), but Firefox did not ask me if I wanted to store the information. I restarted teh browswer and tried again, but still nothing.
How can I get Firefox to ask me again if I want to store my login information for gmail?

"Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Thanks for the quick reply. I followed both suggestions and neither worked :(
Do you have any Google (GMail) entries in the Password Manager?
Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
Make sure that you not run Firefox in Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode ("Tools > Stop Private Browsing" present)
