How do you manually backup bookmarks with Firefox 4? Bookmarks does not have an "organize bookmarks" option as did earlier versions.
Firefox 4 does not show the "organize bookmarks" option when clicking on Bookmarks. I want to manually backup my bookmarks and could migrate to "backup" from "organize bookmarks" on the earlier versions of Firefox. How can I manually backup my bookmarks on Firefox 4?

To do a Restore of your Bookmarks, do the following
NOTE: - Restoring the bookmarks will overwrite the current set of bookmarks with the set of bookmarks in the backup file that you choose to restore with. 1) On the Menu bar, click on the Bookmarks tab and then click on Show all Bookmarks from the dropdownlist. 2) In the Library window thus opened, click on Import and Backup tab and then point your mouse over Restore. 3) Select the backup file from the drop down list that you like to restore. a. The dated files are the automatic backups of Bookmarks. b. To choose a manual backup file, select Choose File. 4) After choosing the backup file, the bookmarks from that file will be restored. Close the Library window.

What I really was asking was how to manually backup bookmarks to another hard drive, not "restore". However, from your reply, I have seen how to do that. Apparently, "Organize Bookmarks" now resides in the "Show all Bookmarks" option. From there I was able to manually backup to a different hard drive. Thanks.
As per jimdec23's reply. Thx
There is a little change in this Firefox 4 version . You need to go through Bookmarks Menu >> Show all Bookmarks, instead of Manage n here u goooooo
Hello. I liked your short but clear answer. I'm not opposed to upgrading from v.3.6... to the newer/newest version "if" I can maintain the easy access to the dozens of bookmark files I've built and frequently use now in v.3.6...- functionality is everything. Question: So, if you're familiar with the newer versions, which would you suggest to maintain the functionality I'm accustomed to? ( I always avoid the newest version(s) because of bugs - no bugs please!) Note: using Win.Vista-H.Prem. Thanks for your opinion.
