When closing session, how to save all open windows , so will re-open next time logon ?
In the older version of Firefox at the point I was closing my browsing session , I had aPopup Window say "You are about to close eg. 10 Windows , do you wish to save and re-open next session ? "I was able to have that option saving my last browsing session - to open next occasion ... in Firefox 4 - How can I have that same option ??

Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session.
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time.
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page.
Another possibility is to use:
- Firefox (Tools) > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"
Thanks cor-el . Your suggestion certainly works whilst my computer remains turned on - eg : closing all Firefox Browser windows - then opening fresh browser - all windows re-open as previously. The test will be when I close system and come back next day to start up again - will my previous browsing session still re-open ? Thankyou again, though.
If you use CCleaner then make sure that Session is unchecked in the settings for the Firefox application.
Unfortunately not up with current programs - is CCleaner a free program or where can you you get it - does it cost $$ ? Not sure when you say make sure session is unchecked in Firefox application - do you mean under Tools/Options ..when Firefox Starts : "Show My Windows and Tabs From Last Time " .. what to have unchecked , so it reads ... what ???
This fixed everything!! Thanks so much, my browser is back to the way it was and all my settings are back!! thank you!!
