I updated to the current version of Firefox and now all of my javascipt plug-ins have been disabled due to non-compatibility. This is an issue since I maintain a website which now does not play or upload due to this issue. I have installed the latest Flash player and made sure JavaScript is up to date. Please advise.

You can always make sure you have the latest Flash Player at http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck

Note that Javascript is different from Java. Javascript is installed inside of firefox, so you shouldn't have a problem, unless you have disabled it. Java is a programming language that can run a web applet. See Using the Java plugin with Firefox.

Your Java Console extensions (not plugins) may have been disabled and they are not needed by the normal internet user.

Your Next Generation Java Plugin is enabled and is all that is needed for the normal user to experience Java applets/content on web sites; click on "More system details" to the right of your original question and look for "Next Generation Java Plug-in 1.6.0_27 for Mozilla browsers". That item is identified in your Add-ons > Plugins as "Java(TM) Platform SE (version)".

Java Console
Unless you do Java programming/development or debug Java applets on web pages, you do not need Java Console. Java update will install a new Java Console with each update. Removing the Java Console extensions has no effect on the functioning of Java for web browsing. You can see, but not remove, the Java Console extensions in Add-ons > Extensions. Java Console extensions can be safely removed manually by following the instructions in this article:
