Firefox 7.0.1 occasionally doesn't restore my previous session when opening it even though it's set to restore previous session and has been closed using the Windows close button in the upper right corner.
This has happened several times, usually when I'm opening it for the first time in the morning although it has happened once after a crash. The "restore previous session" option under the History menu is grayed out and so isn't an available option. There's no indication when I'm shutting down that there's a problem. The tabs I had open when I shut down are listed in the history but I don't want to have to sort through the last couple weeks of history to find them. I do tend to have a lot of tabs open but most of the time it works fine (except for the daily crashes, after which it restores the tabs).

Go to Firefox button on the top left: Options : Options: General: When Firefox starts: "Show my windows and tabs from last time"
Um...thanks but as I stated in my original post I already have it set to restore the previous session. Most of the time when I open Firefox it loads the tabs that were open when I closed it like it's supposed to; it's just occasionally it will start up with just my home page.
