Everytime I close Firefox it gives me the message box that firefox has crashed

I close firefox the way I close all of my applications....with the X in the right hand upper corner. Every time I close it I get a pop up box telling me that firefox has crashed and it lets me type in details of the crash. It also has me choose either restart firefox or exit with out restarting.

I had that problem and when I looked in the windows error log it was giving additional information that it was a problem with the shockwave flash plugin. Reinstalling the flash plugin cured it. I had to first get the flash uninstall utility from Adobe and then re-install it.

I think the latest version of Flash, Version 11.x.x is not compatible with firefox 3.6.x and you must use version 10 of flash even though the update checker says it is out of date.
