I cannot open Firefox. I have downloaded and put into Applications on my 1mac.Double clicking on the icon only puts Firefox at the top of the screen in Finder.
Firefox was working fine for ages. Now I double click on the icon ( Imac) and the icon bounces and appears to open but nothing comes up on the screen.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems. See "Creating a profile":

After dragging Firefox to the Applications folder, hold down the control key while clicking in the window and select Eject "Firefox" from the menu.
You can add Firefox to your dock for easy access. Just open your Applications folder and drag Firefox to the dock.
