Open all links and bookmarks in a new tab
Today I updated to FF 23.0 and Tab Mix Plus is no longer fully functional, and I had to disable it. I am trying to duplicate its functions in about:config.
I have two issues:
1. How can I get all bookmarks to open in a new tab on the far right? Bookmarks are opening on top of the active tab, and this I cannot abide.
2. How can I get all links to open in a new tab? No new windows, no right-click, no over-writing the current tab... just make ALL links open in a new tab on the far right?
Thank you.

Without an extension you can only middle-click a link with the mouse scroll wheel to open the link in a new tab.
You can try the latest TMP 0.4.1.1 dev version, see Development Channel at the bottom of the page.

The dev version is working like a charm. Thanks for the tip, cor-el.
I just had to reset Firefox. Before I did every bookmark and other links opened in a new tab. Now all links open in the home page. I've tried to reset the tab options but to no avail. Every time I upgrade or do anything with FF this happens and it's getting old. For something that should be relative easy to set up or reset this becomes a major pain.
You can use the SearchReset extension to reset some preferences to the default values.
Note that the SearchReset extension only runs once and then uninstalls automatically, so it won't show on the "Firefox > Add-ons" page (about:addons).
If you do not keep changes after a restart or otherwise have problems with preferences, see:
