Everytime i open firefox an add window comes up. It comes up on every page i goto. I cant get it turned off. what can I do?

Everytime i open firefox a little window with an add pops up at the bottom of my screen. i cant close it it will only let me click on hide window. If i push hide window it just hides part of it. It comes up on every page that i go to. i have tried changeing my settings and checking my add-ons and i cannot make it to where it dosnt come up. Please help.

hello, this sounds like a problem possibly caused by adware/malware on your pc. please go to firefox > addons > extensions & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc). also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.
