When I use the photo upload tool in Google+, you select the pics to upload, enter an album name or use an existing one, and the upload should start. When this is complete, each uploaded photo should show in a panel so that you can then rotate, delete. This works in IE. In Firefox 24, each photo is just shown as a blue line.

I have tried Firefox in Safe Mode to no effect.

Hello,

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
  2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  3. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  4. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  5. Now click the Clear now button.

Sorry, have tried all that. If I switch FF to an IE Tab extension, it works ok. Go back to FF and it doesn't work, so seems to be definite FF problem.

Any progress with this problem? If I can't get this to work, it will be goodbye to FF.

Hello in your system details it seems that you have in your profile folder a User.js file. The user.js file does not exist by default. If you create the file, forget it, if you have not create the file then try to delete the User.js file, to see if the problem goes away (some programs create the file also).

Thanks for the idea from ideato, but it had no effect. I did not create the user.js and deleting it did nothing.

The problem with the upload is that it does not show the thumbnails so each picture can be rotated, moved, deleted.

Actually, just discovered something. If I grab one of the images, shown as just a line -------------, and then try and drag it, the image appears and then vanishes when I let go. Any ideas about this?

Another thing, if I use Picasaweb to upload instead of google+, thumbnails appear fine, so I'm thinking some code in google+ is being blocked by FF.

The google+ screen is showing this in error console: [15:33:24.989] TypeError: this._containers is undefined @ resource://gre/modules/commonjs/toolkit/loader.js -> resource:///modules/devtools/markupview/markup-view.js:343
