I am not sure what you mean by quick links, but if it is this:

You may want to remove it as it will cause problems and violate your privacy.

If you are referring to the about:newtab page - please see my screenshot below - tiles are added to it when you go to certain pages, drag a bookmark into the page, or drag something from your history into the page. See Customize your Firefox New Tab page for more information.

I am not sure what you mean by quick links, but if it is this:

You may want to remove it as it will cause problems and violate your privacy.

If you are referring to the about:newtab page - please see my screenshot below - tiles are added to it when you go to certain pages, drag a bookmark into the page, or drag something from your history into the page. See Customize your Firefox New Tab page for more information.
