Is firefox 's latest upgrade compatible with PC Matic protection?
I keep getting prompted to upgrade to the latest version but I want to know before I upgrade, if PC Matic protection is compatible? I had a different protection and firefox would not let several of the addons work.

The current release is Firefox 37.0.2. You already have Firefox 37, so if this works for you with that version then updating shouldn't be a problem.
Make sure that you only update via Help > About
If you get a pop-up message asking to update Firefox or plugins or scanning for malware then such a message is likely a scam and you should never respond to such an alert to avoid getting infected with malware.
- Only update Firefox via "Help > About" or by downloading and installing Firefox from the Mozilla server and never via a pop-up or link on a web page.
- Plugins should only be updated via the plugin itself or by visiting the home page of the plugin.
