After update, I can not longer search from my address bar. Help!
Ever since I updated my Firefox, I can't type in a random word in the address bar to search the internet. When I press enter, nothing happens.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
Yes, the problem is there. It still doesn't work.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

--- Do you still see all the default search engines in "Options/Preferences > Search" You can check if you have the XML files of the default search engines including Google in the browser\searchplugins folder in the Firefox program folder.
If not then you need to reinstall Firefox.

What I did was just installed the latest version and that seemed to fix the problem. Thank you!
